Image blocking

Image blocking is when email clients or recipients disable an image’s ability to load in an email. Email clients often do this for security reasons, while subscribers use it to conserve bandwidth.

Some senders choose email-embedded images to avoid their images being blocked. These embedded images are a part of an email template’s code and appear with the text, rather than taking up space as an attachment. However, email clients can still block them and instead display an ALT text description.
